Course Outline
The course is intended to introduce the principles of the Biotechnology industry to Life Science scientists. Starting with an overview on the industry, globally and in Singapore, as well as the science involved, the participants will learn about financing an enterprise, raising money and how to compose the necessary business plan.

The audience will hear from representatives from the different Singapore funding agencies on their function and schemes, get an overview on different operational aspect of setting up the company as well as on the commercialization of a product.

The product development and regulatory aspects together with legal and licensing consideration will round up the picture for the audience.
